Fujimi Corporation Receives 2014 Environmental Excellence Award

On April 1, 2015 Clean Water Services held its Second Annual Industrial Partners Pretreatment Awards ceremony. The event, held at the Hillsboro Public Library, honored 44 industrial permittees from throughout Washington County who had a perfect compliance record for 2014, including Fujimi Corporation. The honored companies met or exceeded discharge permit requirements that included reporting responsibilities, discharge flow limits and permit sampling parameters throughout the year. The companies awarded this honor included manufacturers of everything from shopping bags and printing ink, to circuit boards and solar voltaic cells, as well as industries engaged in waste disposal, biomedical research and other activities which require meticulous attention to environmental impacts. The diligence of these industries complements the efforts of the greater Washington County community to act as responsible stewards of the Tualatin River Watershed.
