POSITION SUMMARY
The Research Marketing Analyst provides marketing research, direction and implementation support for initiatives in various areas of new business opportunities. This position is responsible for the synthesis of data and marketplace information to determine the appropriate marketing strategy and execution for new initiatives. Will develop and recommend the initial position for projects and will communicate the approach via a marketing plan. Will identify required marketing resources and ensure the seamless integration and execution of marketing deliverables across all marketing channels.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Able to conduct market research on a specific topic including
o Areas of product usage.
o Current, 3 year, 5 year and 10 year projections on market size.
o Competitors and competitor market share.
o Identification of gaps with current providers.
o Identification of influences (such as government regulations) that effect desirability of product.
• Able to estimate/conduct cost analysis on provided production process.
• Familiar with basic business, bookkeeping and accounting skills.
• Experience developing business plans.
• Experience writing marketing/business reports on the efficacy of a product or service.
• Familiar with and capable of using and developing Gantt Charts
• Able to work on more than one project at a time.
• Ability and experience in preparing and delivering project reports, and presentations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred
Experience: Five years related experience. Background in technical environment a plus.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, statistics software such as Statistica or JMP.
